COVID-19 and Training

As local mandates revolve around social distancing requirements, we will continue to work with organizations to ensure that training meets these standards.

Safety is the Responsiblity of the Entire Team

As an employer, it is your duty to provide your employees with jobs and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that are causing, or are likely to cause, death or serious physical harm.  As an employee, you have a duty of care responsibility to report any hazards, injuries or illnesses to your supervisor or employer.

OSHA Success Stories: Interview from OSHA Training Institute

Safety Training Offered

OSHA-10 and OSHA-30

OSHA-10 for Construction

Primarily intended for entry-level workers, OSHA-10 teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. This course also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. This is the first step in creating hazard awareness within the organization.

OSHA-30 for Construction

Building off the knowledge gained from OSHA-10, students will go into an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards in each industry.

Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Training (40-Hour)

Energy Career Path offers OSHA's Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER 40) Standards training, which require employees to complete appropriate HAZWOPER training prior to entering or beginning work on an uncontrolled hazardous waste operation.

Confined Space Training (8-Hour)

The Confined Space Training course provides workers with specific safety protocols to respond and control hazards associated with workplaces that involve what OSHA defines as “limited or restricted means of entry or exit”.

Traffic Control and Flagging (8-Hour)

Flaggers are responsible for the safety of all highway workers as well as the public and should be trained in safe traffic control practices and public contact techniques.

ECP will train students in the proper fundamentals of flagging and moving traffic.  This training prepares students seeking to become flaggers for their organization. All methods of control and signaling used by flaggers adhere to the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)

CPR and BLS/AED First Aid

Energy Career Path is proud to offer Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training based on the American Heart Association guidelines.

We also offer Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR as well as Heartsaver CPR/AED + First Aid.
