CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Providing yourself and your team with the ability to administer CPR and first aid is one way to create an environment in the workplace where your team can focus on being productive knowing that they're safe.

OSHA 10 & 30 - Construction (in person and online)

OSHA requires employers to provide training to workers who face hazards on the job.  Employees who have taken the OSHA courses are better equipped to help maintain a safe job site and therefore are an essential part of the workforce.

More Safety Training

PV1 - Introduction to Solar (in person and online)

This class provides an overview of the solar PV trade, solar energy fundamentals and electrical theory, including system types and applications, as well as installations best practices for residential installations.

PV2 - Introduction to Solar II (in person)

This class introduces advanced solar installation practices, including basic system design as well as off-grid concepts, conduit bending and wire run, and commercial project fundamentals including ground mount installation best practices.  This program includes employment readiness throughout the course to prepare students for their careers in solar.

Energy Survey (in person)

Energy Survey teaches students how to identify energy opportunities by conducting energy investigations of major energy use areas such as lighting, HVAC, and specialty loads.
Energy Conservation Measures are the focus of this training.

Lighting Retrofit (in person)

Lighting retrofit training is not just learning how to change out old inefficient lighting fixtures and installing LED kits, it's also understanding lighting technology as well as basic electrical troubleshooting and switch configurations.

Electrical Wiring & Codes (in person)

A hands-on training for electrical safety and wiring in residential and commercial applications.  Students will learn proper NEC/CEC code-compliant techniques for rough and finish wiring of circuits and devices, as well as electrical plan reading.

Energy Storage (in person)

Students will learn about the importance of energy storage fundamentals, different battery technologies, and how they apply to the power and transportation sectors.  Students learn about power inversion and the control systems to manage them.  Students completing the training gain the familiarity of the storage industry and the skills needed to enter the control technician or operations and maintenance career paths. 

Energy Efficient Construction (in person)

A practical study of Green Building Technology and "Zero Net Energy" building practices in a hands-on environment.  Includes understanding the building envelop, insulation practices, window types, green framing approaches, and more; all according to CA Title 24 building standards.
